Court was SUCCESSFUL!!

Yes, we had a very pleasant court date. All was smooth sailing and we are now ready to pick up our little babe again!! We will leave August 29th to bring him home!!! YAY!!!!!!

Court Travel

So Mark and I leave EARLY tomorrow morning for Ethiopia. It's so
crazy to think this day has finally arrived, but we are ready become our family of 6!!

If I am able to locate an internet connection while there I plan to send messages to the blog. Otherwise it'll be in one lump sum when we return next weekend.

Court

I'm sure many of you know by now, if you are on facebook anyway, that we have a court date!! MOWA's court date was July 22nd and it was positive, so our date is August 4th. Right before the courts close for rainy season, so we lucked out!! As long as all goes well, we will travel back the end of August to bring our little guy home. So many prayers are in store right now!

REFERRAL!!

Yes, we have received our referral for a beautiful baby boy. And I cannot wait till you can all see this beautiful baby boy!!
We received the call Thursday afternoon, may 13th. Saw the caller id as "unknown" but had a phone number with it, so didn't think it was Mary. Boy was I wrong!!! She called just as I was needing to run to get Trevor from school....thankfully my sis-in-law was able to pick him up for me! :-)

So now we wait for our court date. As many of you are probably aware, Ethiopia closes courts during the rainy season...August thru end of September, roughly. We are hoping to maybe get in before the courts close, but won't know that till we get the call. If we do not have court before August, we will then get into court most likely in October.

So....till the next good news!!!
